These Terms of Service govern your use of dearpet.net and purchases from Dear Pet. By visiting the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Products

We work to present descriptions, colors, dimensions, materials, care instructions, availability, and images accurately. Screen settings, photography, production tolerances, and soft-product compression may cause reasonable differences. Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions, intended use, care instructions, and suitability for their pet and home. Products are not veterinary, medical, crash-tested restraint, or safety devices unless expressly stated with supporting information.

Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website or at checkout and may change before an order is accepted. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, and other charges will be shown at checkout when available or collected as required by law. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and available payment providers.

Orders

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance. We may reject, limit, or cancel an order because of suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, product unavailability, payment failure, shipping restrictions, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled item or order.

Shipping, Returns, and Cancellations

Shipping destinations, charges, and estimated delivery windows are described in our Shipping Policy and displayed at checkout when available. Estimates are not guarantees. Customers are responsible for a complete delivery address and for import charges not collected at checkout. Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Return Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Intellectual Property

The website and its trademarks, brand names, logos, product names, text, photographs, graphics, videos, designs, and code are owned by or licensed to Dear Pet and protected by applicable law. No license is granted except a limited right to use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping.

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate third-party rights. You grant Dear Pet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and display that content in connection with the store and its marketing, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

The website may use or link to services operated by Shopify and other third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy, security, or terms. Your use of those services is governed by their terms.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and Services are provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dear Pet and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. We may suspend access for misuse, fraud, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Severability and Governing Law

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the merchant location above without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their place of residence. Courts and dispute-resolution bodies with mandatory jurisdiction remain available.
